YünYāng 鸳鸯 🦆

Yunyang — a mix of coffee and milk tea — is a popular beverage in Hong Kong.  Served iced or hot.

The name Yunyang, which refers to mandarin ducks, is a symbol of love in Chinese culture, as the birds usually appear in pairs and the male and female look very different. This same connotation of a "pair" of two unlike items is used to name this drink.

Fashion creatives Hayley Lyla and Krisha Sia are Yunyang.  Coming from different walks of life, H and K crossed paths in HK, where it all started — both the yunyang beverage and the H&K Yunyang bond. Unexpected yet harmonious, what sets them apart is what bonded them together.

Their styles speak for themselves.  Bold prints and vivid colours —  H loves the electric, eccentric and eclectic.  On the other hand, K is all about the minimal, structural and neutral — understated details and achromatic hues.  H has short bright pink hair, K has long jet black hair.  Coffee for K.  Milk tea for H.  Despite the contrast, the Yunyang duo complement each other, offering endless ways to mix and match a certain style into different looks.
